Combining a superb female lead vocal, with harmonies and augmented by 2 male vocals, together with great stage presence and fantastic musicianship, this band is guaranteed to be a hit at parties/functions and pubs/night-clubs alike.In Paula Long, GET OVER IT has one of the most gifted vocalists around. With her dynamic stage moves and fantastic vocal range, she’s a sure-fire hit with the audience. The rest of the band members have a wealth of both live and recording experience between them. Coming from a variety of bands – such as The Van Morrison Tribute, Joanna & Tequila Sunrise, Jacob’s Ladder, & Carwash – The 70’s Show, – the band’s pedigree and experience ensures that the show is performed to the highest professional standards. Formed in 2002, Santoria are a seven piece Irish Soul band fronted by a female vocal trio, consisting of powerful Dublin Vocalist Linzi McKeon alongside Kildare duo Karen Oldfield and Sarah Byrne. The ladies are supported by the funky rhythm section of Guitarist Shane Smith, Dublin Drummer Graham Kane and Cavan Bassist Jonny Doyle respectively. In Ireland, the vastly experienced outfit have performed shows in Dublin’s famous Olympia Theatre, Trinity Rooms Limerick, INEC Killarney, The Button Factory, Whelan’s, Sky Venue and Croke Park as well as the Bud Rising and Dublin City Soul Festivals. Overseas, the group were recently invited to Bucerias, Mexico for a series of shows whilst also performing in England, UK and Los Angeles, USA during 2009. Previously, the band were joined on stage by International RnB Superstar Lisa Stansfield for an impromptu rendition of Jackson 5’s classic “I Want You Back” and soon after, Santoria band members were invited to perform on national Irish TV on ‘The Late Late Show’.
